Blinds...

I am soo...loving this Asos Mesh Panel Dress, $170. I am debating about going to my company's Christmas party and I am looking for a dress or romper to wear. Whether or not I attend my company's party or another, this dress would be perfect!

Peep Rihanna's version she wore to Paris Fashion Week.

Rihanna Top Shop Grace Jones Tank...

Rihanna was spotted this week at Newark Liberty International Airport, coming from Honolulu, Hawaii, to New Jersey wearing the Grace Jones Topshop vest I mentioned awhile back. The Prince version sold out in only a few hours after I posted it, but I initially ordered the Grace Jones anyway!

I just returned from New York today, I am still recuperating. I had a lot of fun. I will post the pics later this evening once I've sorted through them all.

GET INAUGARATION DAY INSPIRED...

Crowning Glory...Ladies, Ladies, Ladies! Paying careful detail to your coif is a must. You can go all right with the best outfit ever, but you can make the best ensemble go south with a not-so-hot coif. Trust and believe Neicey and n'em will let you know up in the Metropolitan Erea! He He!

Celeb Inspired Coifs

Look 1. Brooke Crittenden

Try this pixie short crop. A good pomade and relaxer are key, trust and believe you will be breaking a sweat will all the people expected to be in attendance!

Look 2. Heidi Klum

This look is very elegant and very chic. It can be worn dressed up or dressed down. The key is to make it look effortless but well put together.

Look 3. Zoe Saldana
Princess Ringlets are great for any style. The key to pull of this coif is volume, volume and more volume (not to the point of a Beyonce 2001 MTV Awards sea biscuit). Add a few extensions or a whole weave, this look does not go over well when flat.

Look 3. Megan Fox
This up-do is very, very haute. I'd rock this on a daily basis to protect my strands. However, as you can see if done right you can pull this bun off by day out on the town or at night at whatever inauguration event you decide to hit up.

Look 5. Rihanna
Of course this list would not be complete without our den mother, Ri Ri. This I Love Lucy mane is perfect for my girls with a little edge. Try if you will!

Celeb inspired quick tips

Divas:

Look 1 : Rihanna The One-Piece

Try this on for size for a more sophisticated, simple and classic look. If you go with a monochromatic scheme pair with bold jewelry of the same scheme. If you dare to spice it up just add a punch of color in the shoes and accessories.

Look 2: Lauren London Cute & Frilly Sweetheart

This look is for all my girly girls who like to spice it up. Show off curves and assets with above the knee dresses and skirts. Add flowers and prints for feminine spice. Don't be afraid to try these looks in color, however, unless wearing black shy away from a monochromatic disaster (i.e. all blue, red, teal etc)

Look 3: Beyonce Colorful, Curvaceous Swexy

For all of my hippie sistahs, try this ensemble for a great way to define curves. Shy away from bright colors or bold patterned mermaid dresses of this sort (they make you look bigger). If you choose a dress with rich color pair with simple accessories and shoes (i.e. gold, silver, black). No pun intended, but if you do NOT already have curves, this dress type will not define what is NOT already there.

Look 4: Jada Pinkett-Smith Rock Glamour
So you have edge and you have to show it at all times. Go with a dress that is feminnine but contrasts with studs or leather. Accessorize with hard jewelery such as pyramid studs, leather and clutch. Color can also be added to this combination in sprouts. It can be hard to pull of if the main piece is color and edgy, BE CAREFUL!
