Me wearing F21 stone wash denim vest, distressed skinny jeans, F21 Giambattista Valli platforms, metal accessories, Lotis yellow/lime alligator clutch, Vintage lace black leotard, Patricia Field Studded Belt.

I've had every Michael Jackson album since 1985. As I was driving on the highway this morning I let all the windows down...well both windows down, and let the wind and Michael bring me all the way to work. Listening to his songs saddened me because not only was he an icon, but he is The King of Pop & Fashion. I loved most of his earlier ensembles from the graphic tees, to the sequin encrusted pants and jackets. Many of today's fashion influences are direct resemblances to Michael's style. His music and his soul will always have a special place on this Earth.

SORRY FOR THE LONG AWAITED POST, BUT IT HAS TAKEN ME ALMOST 2 DAYS TO RECUPERATE FROM THIS TRIP. THIS POST IS ALSO PICTURE HEAVY BECAUSE I TOOK SO MANY GREAT PICTURES AND I WANTED TO SHOW YOU ALL!

STAY: I STAYED AT THE POD HOTEL IN MANHATTAN, 1 BLOCK FROM PARK AVE. IT IS A VERY, VERY NICE HOTEL. TO SOME IT CAN BE PRESUMED AS A HOSTEL, CONTRARY TO BELIEFS THIS HOTEL IS AWESOME. 12PM- ARRIVED, PULLED UP, GREETED BY CONCIERGE. THE FRONT DESK ATTENDANTS WERE VERY FRIENDLY, FOR NEW YORKERS (JK)! IT TOOK ME LESS THAN 4 MINUTES TO CHECK IN. 12:15 PM- BELLMAN WAS DONE LOADING THE LUGGAGE AND DIRECTED ME TO THE NEAREST PARKING GARAGE. PARKING WAS REALLY GOOD CONSIDERING GARAGE PRICES IN NEW YORK FOR 24 HS. IN TOTAL $30 FOR 24HRS, HOTEL ATTENDANTS GET A DISCOUNT IF YOU PRESENT YOUR TICKET UPON CHECK OUT! 12:45 ENJOYED A BRISK SPRING WALK ABOUT 1 BLOCK BACK TO THE ROOM. 1PM- TOOK IN THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE LOBBY. VERY YOUNG, CHIC, UPBEAT, GREAT MUSIC, TRES TRENDY! 1:45PM- LAY DOWN FOR A QUICK CAT NAP BEFORE HEADING OUT. THE ROOMS WERE SMALL BUT ALSO SPACIOUS. FOR TWO PEOPLE IN A ROOM THE SIZE OF A DORM, WE WERE STILL ABLE TO KEEP OUT OF EACH OTHER'S WAY. THE AMBIANCE OF ROOMS WERE VERY TECHY. THE BATHROOMS WERE UP TO DATE AS U CAN SEE IN THE PICS. IF YOU SHOULD EVER STAY HERE, REQUEST A ROOM ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE HOTEL. THE VIEW FROM WINDOW IS BEAUTIFUL. WE LEFT OUR WINDOWS UP THE ENTIRE NIGHT AND WE JUST REALLY WANTED TO SIT IN THE WINDOW WITH A GOOD BOOK AND WATCH THE CITY. THE ROOF TOP WAS BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS RAINING OUT SO NO ONE WAS OUT THERE WHEN WE WENT OUT. THE ONLY CON TO THIS HOTEL IS THE ELEVATORS WERE EXTREMELY SLOW. SO A LOT OF THE TIME WE USED THE STAIRS. WHICH WAS NOT ALL TOO BAD. OVERALL I GIVE THIS HOTEL AND 99.9% OVERALL SATISFACTORY LEVEL. CLEANLINESS x NO BUGS, RODENTS, ETC., + INEXPENSIVE = SUCCESS FOR ME!

SITES: I LOVED THE TOPSHOP FLAGSHIP STORE! IT WAS SO NICE WHEN I WENT FRIDAY NIGHT BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSE TO CLOSING AND THE STORE WAS EMPTY. HOWEVER, WHEN I RETURNED SATURDAY MORNING IT WAS HORRID. IT WAS WORSE THAN F21 OVERLOAD. I JUST LEFT AND DECIDED TO CONTINUE MY TOPSHOP ADVENTURES ONLINE! WENT CRAZY IN GEORGETOWN PICKED UP A RACK OF SNEAKERS AND SOME COOL ACCESSORIES.

FOOD: I HAD THE BEST BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA EVER. CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE PLACE BUT IT'S ON THE CORNER OF BLEEKER AND HOUSTON, I THINK...SORRY! WENT BACK TO MAGNOLIA BAKERY, THIS TIME TRIED THE RED VELVET CREAM CHEESE CUPCAKE, MUST TRY! MY COUSIN DEVOURED MY VANILLA CUPCAKE SO I DO NOT KNOW HOW GOOD IT COULD'VE BEEN!

SPOTTED: TWINS DEE AND RICKY JACKSON, WHILST EATING AT THE PIZZA JOINT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF. THEY ARE REALLY COOL, THEY STOPPED AND POSED FOR A PIC WITH REDESA.

Rihanna Top Shop Grace Jones Tank...

Rihanna was spotted this week at Newark Liberty International Airport, coming from Honolulu, Hawaii, to New Jersey wearing the Grace Jones Topshop vest I mentioned awhile back. The Prince version sold out in only a few hours after I posted it, but I initially ordered the Grace Jones anyway!

I just returned from New York today, I am still recuperating. I had a lot of fun. I will post the pics later this evening once I've sorted through them all.
